Promote Biodiversity

Humans at the Heart of Nature

Opening and Discovery

Our Mission

The “Jardins des 5 sens” offer educational tours of its ornamental gardens to promote biodiversity and highlight the positive impact of nature on humans.

Our Vision

Reconnect humans with their senses so that they open up to nature. By the beauty of the gardens with floral scents, under soft thematic music, in direct contact with the plants and ending with the tasting of fresh farm products.

Our Values

Eco-responsibility

Our eco-responsible approach to our fruit, vegetable and flower crops, without the addition of pesticides or chemical fertilizers, while respecting the environment and protecting pollinators

Biodiversity

We are proud of the plant diversity present on the site, whether by the multitude of varieties, or by the selection of our market gardening production presenting vegetables adapted to our climate or even unknown to the general public.

Opening

We advocate openness in all its benefits. Openness to nature, but also to humans, through the integration of people with an atypical profile. Openness to knowledge, through education of the general public and interaction with training centers and welcoming students.

Karine Morasse

Karine Morasse
President

Formerly an interior designer, her expertise lay in meeting the organizational needs of businesses and individuals. Her mission was to bring greater well-being and beauty to the various environments in which people live. Energetic and a lover of color, she fi nds balance in her garden, surrounded by a rainbow of blooms.

In 2022, she gave herself a gift and enrolled in horticulture, transforming her personal passion into a profession. It was during a month-long internship at renowned Monet's Garden in Giverny, at the end of her training, that her new vocation was confi rmed. Looking back, it was also there that her grander ideas took root! After a season designing and maintaining gardens for a private landscaping company, she and her husband purchased a farm with ornamental gardens. For her, it was a natural fi t. It's not enough to create a pleasant living environment for people; it's essential to help them reconnect with nature, their primary environment. This is how the Les Jardins des 5 sens adventure began.

She refocuses the site's mission and integrates the culture of edible flowers into ornamental gardens. The intention: offer to public an enchanting site where beauty blends with the richness of nourishing crops. A place to unwind, refocus, and discover. And why not recreate it, on a smaller scale, at home? Breathe, inspire, share. Transmit knowledge, encourage people to get their hands dirty, to marvel at the vast array of possible harvests, but also to savor moments of tranquility with a good cup of herbal tea. Now it's your turn!

Electrical engineer, specialized in telecommunications, he is the project's technical expert. From a very young age, he has been curious about everything and eager to learn more.  About technology, of course, but only when it serves humanity and solves problems. Concerned about ecology, climate challenges, health, and fascinated by interactions with nature, he has a bit of a "mad scientist" streak.

Juggling his full-time job as a Wi-Fi security specialist, he appears at any moment, like an Indiana Jones in a straw hat, to solve any problems that arise in the gardens. Wi-Fi access as well as irrigation or electricity. His greatest pride? Cedar hedges pruning! The consistency of hedge heights from one garden to another, the correct thickness, the ideal finishing angle to withstand snow—that's his specialty.

Navigating the complexities of artificial intelligence on a daily basis, it is in the gardens that he catches his breath and finds balance. In the most powerful and sophisticated type: Natural Intelligence (NI).

Équipe Famille

The 5 Senses Family
The Children

Why Les Jardins des 5 sens? Because there are five of us on this adventure. Karine and Paul are joined by their children: Benjamin, Maeva, and Lily-Jeanne. While each pursuing their own path, they lend a hand on the farm, each contributing their unique talents. Whether it's welcoming visitors, harvesting flowers, assisting the gardeners, helping with production and bagging, or making all kinds of repairs, there's always something to do.

On the farm, we learn, we push ourselves... and we grow!
